Walking into Biordi is like being transported to Italy with museum quality ceramics. The heirloom quality ceramics have been produced exactly the same way for over 500 years. We sell both traditional ceramics with colorful and intricate designs and modern contemporary pieces, all hand-painted by master artisans from Umbria, Tuscany, and Sicily. Biordi Art Import has 20 mostly-exclusive artisan relationships with family workshops, some dating back to the store’s founding in 1946. The North Beach store has been a San Francisco landmark for over 75 years.
