Project Open Hand

Founded in 1985, Project Open Hand is a nonprofit organization that provides meals with love and meals that heal to critically ill neighbors and seniors in San Francisco and Alameda counties. As a leader in the Food is Medicine movement, we help our health provider-referred clients recover from illness, gain strength, and lead healthier lives through dietitian-designed, medically-tailored nutrition and access to healthy foods.
