Lyon-Martin Community Health Services

Lyon-Martin Community Health Services is a community-run nonprofit clinic that serves low-income cis-gender women and transgender people with sensitivity to sexual orientation and gender identity, regardless of ability to pay. We have been providing full-scope primary care with integrated gynecological and mental health services for over 40 years. Named after the late lesbian activists Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon, Lyon-Martin was founded specifically to address and research gaps in care for the San Francisco lesbian community. Since then, our trans health program has grown exponentially to the point where almost 65% of our patient population identify as transgender.
